Obituary for
Fredrick “Fred” Orr
It is with great sorrow that the family of Fred announces his passing on July 7, 2019 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 85 years. Loving husband of 61 years to Mary Orr (Isherwood). He will be greatly missed by his brothers-in-law Greg Piccolo (Carolyn), Billy Isherwood (Sharon) and his sister-in-law Linda Isherwood. He leaves behind his best friend Jacques Lefebvre ( Lynn) , many nieces, nephews and cousins. Fred is predeceased by his parents Eldrige and Helen Orr and his sister Gale Orr. Fred had an illustrious career at Pamour Mine for more than 50 years. Everybody that knew Fred knew that they were always able to count on having a good laugh when they were by his side. He had a funny sense of humor, was a very caring man and would always be the first in line to lend a helping hand. His joy in life was to see other people happy. Fred loved fishing, hunting, camping and anything to do with the outdoors. The family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff at the Timmins and District Hospital for their excellent care. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted with LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home Inc. Cremation has taken place. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
