Fred William Stephenson 2019

Fred Stephenson, a much loved Father, Grandfather, Uncle, and friend, passed away at the age of 91.
He was a devoted and loving husband to his wife Marion for 57 years until her death in 2015.
Predeceased by his brother Doug, niece Laura and brother in law Bob.
Lovingly remembered and survived by daughters Leslie Stephenson, Lynne Stephenson(Sheenagh Woywitka), Kerri(Preston) Paradis, grandchildren Colin and Erin MacKinnon and Carli and Shelbi Paradis, sister in law Eileen Stephenson, brother in law Alex McCalla, sisters in law Nora(Sten) Drugge and Pat Davidson, Dave Cowan and their families.
Fred was kind and generous with everyone he met. He was a life-long learner with multi-faceted interests and talents; a devoted and contributing member of Grace United Church for 60+ years, President of the Northern Alberta Pioneers and Descendants Association for 3 terms, Ham Radio operator and volunteer at the Telus World of Science, Scout Leader, Mason, Shriner, swim instructor and Sunday School teacher.
Fred worked for 36 years as a Lab supervisor for BA, Gulf and Petro Can and remained life long friends with many colleagues.
Fred loved nature, wildlife, traveling, music, adventure, and reading.
His Celebration of life will be held Thursday, July 18, 2019, at 11 am at Grace United Church (6215 104 avenue, Edmonton, AB) Interment 3 pm at Cloverbar Cemetery.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made in Fred’s name to the Grace United Church Music Fund.
