Suddenly at the Winchester District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, July 11, 2019, Fred Harper of Morrisburg, age 73. Loving husband of Linda Harper (nee Douglas). Loving father of Jason of Ottawa and Natasha McMurray (Rob Parry) of London. Dear step-father of Tammy Johnston (Scott Froats) of Iroquois and Angie Barkley (Barry) of Iroquois. Dear brother of Ron of Drayton Valley, Alberta, Dorothy Paul of Chesterville, Gary Barkley (Carol) of Chesterville and Larry Harper (Linda) of Chesterville. Fred will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Frederic, Carter, Tanner, Nash, MacKenzie and Emma. Predeceased by his sisters Melva Izatt and Marlene Kelly and his brother Brian Harper. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
A celebration of Fred’s life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion in Morrisburg on Wednesday, July 17th from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. There will be an opportunity to share memories of Fred at 12:00. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Society would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
