It is with great sadness that we announce that Anne passed away at the Lakeshore General Hospital on July 26, 2019. Anne was a dedicated teacher with the Montreal Catholic School Commission. In retirement Anne enjoyed gardening, reading and spending time with family.
Anne will be missed by her sister Mary, her brother-in-law Donald Farrell (the late Kathleen) and sisters-in-law Patricia (the late Anthony) and Ann (the late Joseph). A cherished Aunt to her nephews Michael (Josée), Christopher (Luisa), John (Katie), Stephen (Tory), Kevin (Jenn), Tom ( Wendy) and her nieces Maureen, Mary-Frances (John), Teresa (Mark), Eleanor (Chris) and Elizabeth. A proud Grand Aunt to Sarah (Kevin), Alex, Patrick, Kathryn, Brendan, Liam, Daniel, Shannon, Stephanie, Grace, Joseph, Trevor, Kelsey, Melissa, Connor, Bennett, Victoria, Kristen, Caitlin, Nolan, Colin, Nicholas, Aidan, Seamus and Ruby. Great-Grand-Aunt to Dax and Toni-Jo.
Anne will be reunited with her parents Joseph Fahey and Mary Clair Glynn, her sister and brothers in the Lord’s embrace.
Please join us for a celebration of Anne’s life. The service will be held at St. Thomas à Becket Church – 4320 Sainte-Anne St, Pierrefonds, QC at 11 a.m. on Wednesday July 31, 2019. The family will receive condolences at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow in the church hall.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada.

  1. Sincere sympathy to all the family from a cousin in Gort Co Galway Ireland where Annes mom and dad (Joseph Fahey and Marie Cláir Glynn) lived before moving to Canada. Joseph was my uncle. My dad was John (Jack) Fahey, Joseph,s older brother. May Anne rest in peace.
