After a courageous battle, Lynn passed away on Monday July 15, 2019 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Augustine “Gus” Whibbs. Loving mother of Mark (Cynthia) and Robert (Susan). Proud and devoted grandma of Robert, Sarah and Adriana. Daughter of the late Edith (nee Burton) and George Heron. Sister of Gloria Douglas (Ray) of Waterloo, Marj Sattler (the late Carl) of Kitchener, Robert Heron (Clara) of Peterborough, Jim Heron (Mary) of Bridgenorth, Betty Maker (Ted) of Peterborough, Ralph Heron (Nora) of Peterborough, and Julie Potter (Don) of Oshawa. Missed by sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many friends and neighbours. A visitation will take place at MacCoubrey Funeral Home 30 King St. E., Cobourg on Thursday July 18, 2019 from 6 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Cobourg (corner of Division and University) on Friday July 19, 2019 at 10 a.m. The family would like to extend a special thank-you to the staff of the N.H.H. Rehab Unit. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the N.H.H. Rehab Unit. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com.
