ERIC BRENTON BUNGAY
1924-2019
The death of Eric Bungay, of McNair Manor, Riverview,
formerly of Moncton, occurred on July 10, 2019. Born in North Sydney,
Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late Alexander Bungay and Flora
(Hatcher) Bungay.
He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Bungay and son-in-law
Bruce Klinger, of Halifax, NS, and special niece, Sharon McCormack, of
Riverview. He was predeceased by his wife Jacklyn (Stewart), sister
Vivienne Clark.
He had numerous interests, and after many years of public
involvement, was awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Golden Jubilee Medal
in 2002.
At his request, there will be no visitation or funeral
service. Memorial donations may be made to The Friends of the Moncton
Hospital, or a charity of choice.
