Elizabeth Anne Comeau
Elizabeth Comeau, resident of Grande Prairie, AB, formerly of Prince Rupert, BC, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, in Grande Prairie, AB, at the age of 68 years.
Liz was born on October 1, 1950 in Prince Rupert, BC, where she was also raised. She moved to Grande Prairie in 1979.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, she was always happiest when she was surrounded by family. She also loved viewing the scenic outdoors.
She will be sadly missed by her brothers: Robert (Susie) Leighton and William Leighton; children: Tania Comeau (Ken Norman) and Trudi Comeau (Mark Bertrand); grandchildren: Justina Comeau (Justin West) and Austin Bertrand; great-grandchild Leighla Comeau; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Albert “Gus” Leighton; mother Margaret Mutch; sister Margaret “Maggie” Roberts; and her former husband Joseph Comeau.
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
