At People Care, Tavistock, Ontario, on July 9, 2019, Eleanor Scott formerly of Simcoe in her 97th year. Wife of the late Donald A. Scott (2016). Dear mother of Carol Shewfelt (Wayne) of Tavistock and Bruce Scott of Woodstock. Cherished grandmother Scott Shewfelt (Raechel), Gregory Shewfelt (Natasha), Megan Shewfelt and Taylor Scott. Great grandmother to Olive Shewfelt. She is also survived by her sister Jean Morse (the late Jack). Predeceased by her parents James and Margaret White, brothers Douglas, Robert and James White and sister Olive Agnes White. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was a member of St. James United Church, former member of the Simcoe Seniors Center and volunteered for the Caring Cupboard. Eleanor was also an avid curler and golfer. Friends are invited to cal at THE FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, 214 Norfolk St., S., Simcoe on Friday, August 16, 2019 form 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.
