1938-2019
The passing of Eileen Mary Veitenheimer (Connaire) occurred
Tuesday, July 2nd, 2019 at the Kiwanis Nursing
Home. Born in Galway, Ireland, on October 11th,
1938, she was the daughter of the late James and Delia (Kilgannan)
Connaire and the wife of the late Carl J. Veitenheimer.
Eileen is survived by her daughter, Louise Ravn of Belleisle
Creek, NB; son-in-law, Richard Ravn and grandchildren, Liam and
Katelynn Ravn all of Midland, NB; sisters: Bridget Cunold of British
Columbia and Mai McDonagh of Galway, Ireland; brother-in-law, Frank
Veitenheimer of Moncton, NB; and sisters-in-law, Shirley Winters of
London, ON and Jeanette Connaire of London, England; as well as
several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband,
Eileen was predeceased by her daughter Donna; brothers: Patrick and
John; and sister Julie.
Sincere thanks to the staff of Sus Health Centre, Primrose
Cottage and Kiwanis Nursing Home for their care of Eileen during the
past few years.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Sherwood’s
Funeral Home and Life Tribute Centre (506-839-2156), 18 Scovil Road,
Norton, NB. At Eileen’s request there will be no visitation
or funeral service held. Memorial donations in memory of Eileen may be
made to the Kiwanis Nursing Home, Sus Extra Mural or the memorial
of the donor’s choice. Personal condolences to the family
and donations may be made through SherwoodsFuneralHome.com
