Edgar Graham
1912-2019
Graham, Edgar, 107, of Nictaux and formerly of Scrabble Hill,
(Lornevale Road), Great Village, passed away Friday, July 26, 2019, at
home. Born in Great Village, he was a son of the late David and Ethel
(Keith) Graham. Edgar was a veteran of the Second World War and a
member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 72, Great Village. He was
a farmer in Great Village for many years retiring at the age of
95.
He is survived by nephews, Wayne Graham (Norma) of Middleton,
Cortland Graham of Scrabble Hill; nieces, Linda Wolf (John) of St.
George, Ontario, Darlene Graham of Tremont; several great nieces and
great nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by brothers, Harold,
Earl, Fred; sisters, Sylvia, Mary, Achsah, Margaret,
Martha.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner
Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Visitation will take place
Tuesday, July 30th commencing at 1 pm
until the Legion Tribute Service at 1:45 pm and directly followed by
funeral service at 2 pm, all in the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 72,
Great Village. Reverend Donald MacQueen will officiate with burial to
follow in Mahon Cemetery, Great Village. Donations in memory may be
