Dylan Lichtenberger
August 21, 1986 – July 2, 2019
Dylan exuded passion and a larger than life attitude. He was a fierce and loyal friend, loving son, exuberant uncle Dyl, devoted and sensational husband, and an amazing daddy. He was the hardest worker, a wonderful mentor, did everything his way (and so did everyone else) and always spoke his truth. Dylan was always the first one to come in with a smile, crack a joke, raise a toast, or lend a hand. You could never threaten him with a good time because he did everything full tilt and to the bar. He left this earth on July 2 riding the wind with the adrenaline pumping, exactly the way he would have wanted. He will be dearly missed by his loving parents Joyce and Perry Lichtenberger, Oma Analies Lichtenberger, sister and brother-in-law Candice MacKenzie and Darryl Seminksy, nephew Marcus MacKenzie, and brother Adam Stoner with whom he shared a great love of music and rocked our world together. The whole music community is mourning the loss of a great drummer and guitarist. Daddy will live on in the lives of his wife Trisha Lichtenberger (nee Finlay), daughters Nova Melody and Aurora Analie, mother and father-in-law Dwight and Sheila Finlay, the entire Finlay and MacLean Families, his buddies around the world, and his dirt biking and work “families”. Nova wanted everyone to know that the best part of her daddy was everything. Dylan, we hope that wherever you are, you have a front row seat to watch over your girls with an ice cold Peroni in your hand, a rocking set of drums and a full tank of gas in your bike and toy car. We love you so much it makes us sick. At 6pm on Friday July 12th at the Lions Centre in Cobourg (157 Elgin St E, Cobourg, ON) the kids will be playing, the bands will be rocking, the drinks will be pouring and we will be celebrating Dylan the way he would want. We welcome everyone to join the celebration (kids are encouraged to come spend some time with his girls). In lieu of flowers, a daddy fund will be set up for Nova and Aurora to provide them with anything daddy would have wanted for them. The fund will be available on Tuesday July 9, please check back at that time. Condolences received at www.MacCoubrey.com
