Cottreau, Doris Ann, 53, Wedgeport passed away unexpectedly July 21,2019. Born in Yarmouth, January 19,1966, she was a daughter to the late Herbie and Norma (Muise) Surette. Doris was a big Boston Bruins fans not missing a game. Family was her main priority and focus, especially her grandson Lionel. She enjoyed country music, eating out, the color purple and taking pictures. She will be dearly missed by her husband Ernie Cottreau; son Pierre (Stephanie) Muise Jr., Wedgeport; daughter Samantha Muise, Wedgeport; brother Andy Surette, Melbourne; sister Marie (Andrew) Surette, Cheggogin; special grandson Lionel. Besides her parents she was predeceased by brothers Eric and Junior; sister Gloria in infancy. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home, Yarmouth. Visitation will take place Thursday from 7-9 pm from the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Service will be Friday at 1 pm, also in the Sweeny’s Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Bruce Hubbard officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or the Diabetes Association.
