Van Kampen, Dien (Nee Linker)
On July 24th, 2019 The Lord took home to Himself, Dien Van Kampen at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Dirk Van Kampen (2014). Loving mother of Janet and John Schinkel, John and Jacqueline Van Kampen, Anita and Dean Hinchcliffe. Predeceased by son Gary (1959). Dear Oma of Chris Schinkel, Jennifer Schinkel, Liz and Jason Denbak, Amanda and Josh Monster, Jessica and David Stolk, Jason Van Kampen, Jeremy and Kaitlyn Van Kampen, Derek Hinchcliffe (Amy VandenEynde) and Lindsay Hinchcliffe. Dear Great Oma of Leah, Silas, Ruby, and Dean Denbak; Rose Monster; Evan, Levi, Aaron, Dylan Stolk; Caleb, Natalie and Zachary Van Kampen. A special thank you to the staff at Strathmere Lodge for their kindness and care, Dr. Philip Vandewalle and to Pastor Harry Zekveld for their continued support.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27th, 2019 from 10:00a.m. until the time of funeral service at 12:00p.m. at Providence United Reformed Church, 447 Second Street, Strathroy. Interment to follow at Strathroy Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Providence URC Building Fund or a charity of one’s choice.
