(1946 – 2019)
Peacefully at VON Sakura House Woodstock with her family at her side Darlene James of Tillsonburg passed away on Thursday July 25, 2019. Beloved wife of Harvey James for 53 years. Predeceased by her parents Alvin and Violet Hill. Loving mother of Lori (Barry) Fitzgerald and Sherry Jones. Loving and caring grandmother of Ryan (Natalie) Wall, Cassy Paridaen, Jordan Paridaen, Amy Wall, Lauren Wall, Daniel Jones, Caleb Jones. Also, survived by brother Paul Hill and her sister-in-laws Karen Hill and Karen Hodges. Predeceased by a grandson Brody Paridaen, sister Patricia Henry, and brother David Hill. The family welcome friends and family for visitation at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Friday, August 2, 2019 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral services to be held at Springfield Baptist Church, Springfield on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 11 a.m. Pastor John Twinem officiating. Interment Richmond Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Sakura House or Springfield Baptist Church would be appreciated by the James family.
