Carol’s Obituary
Coulter, Carol Elizabeth – 77, Wallace Bay, died peacefully in East Cumberland Lodge on June 12, 2019. Carol was predeceased by her parents, Byron and Ruth (Jackson) Coulter, and will be missed by her daughter, Tammy (Brent) Keibel; grandchildren, Phoenix and Skye; brother, Gary (Barb); nieces, Gail Coulter Cahill, Pam Coulter and Heather Coulter Jackson and their families. Born in Springhill, Carol attended Edgehill Girls School in Windsor from 1949 – 1957, where her mother Ruth was the school nurse. After leaving Edgehill, she attended Nova Scotia Technical College and graduated from the Laboratory Technician Program. Upon graduation, Carol began a career in the lab at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax. She retired from the V.G. to the family farm in Wallace Bay. Carol loved her family, cats, lobster, the beach and chocolate. A special thanks to the nurses and staff at East Cumberland Lodge. Interment will be held on Thursday, July 18, at 1:30 p.m. in the Wallace bay Cemetery followed by refreshments at Mundle’s Funeral Home, Pugwash.Rev. Connie McNamara officiating. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society in lieu of flowers would be appreciated.
