Brad Horton, age 71, of Stratford, passed away peacefully at the Stratford Perth Rotary Hospice on Monday, July 22, 2019. Born in Chatham, son of the late Clarence and Betty Horton. Beloved husband of 45 years to Judy Horton (nee LaBelle). Loving father of Tara Watters (Steve) and Mandy Bach (Jeremy). Proud papa of Lauren, Ryan, Megan, Cody and Brayden. Survived by brother Barry (Barb), brother-in-law Larry LaBelle (Janet), sister-in-law Annette LaBelle-Fink (Kevin) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister-in-law Bev LaBelle. Brad was an avid Jays and Leafs fan. He was a referee for the Ontario Hockey Association for 30 years. He also spent many years coaching girls rep softball with the Stratford Minor Girls Softball Association. Brad proudly owned and operated Brad Horton Sales for 30 plus years where he formed many lasting relationships with his customers. A celebration of Brad’s life will be held in the Reception Centre of the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 5 – 8 p.m. A private interment will take place in Avondale Cemetery at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Stratford Perth Rotary Hospice Foundation or the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be made through the funeral home. 519.271.7411 www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
