Obituary for Betty Lou Snetselaar
Passed away suddenly at her home near Petrolia on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. Betty Lou Snetselaar, 80 years, was of Petrolia. Betty Lou was predeceased by her husband Albertus (Bob)(1986). She will be missed by her children Norma Jo (the late Brian) Ewen of Petrolia and Ryk Snetselaar of Alberta, her grandchildren Brent Ewen, Cassidy (Randy) Ewen, and James Ewen, and her great grandchildren Theo Ewen and Vincent Comarin. She was a sister to Barbara Horncastle and William Brannan, both of St. Thomas. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Elizabeth Kok and brother-in-law William Snetselaar. Betty was involved in her community with the Lambton County Historical Societys, Oil Museum, Questers, Girl Guides, and Tecumseh. Visitors will be received on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Cremation to follow.
