BETTY JANE CZOLL
December 18, 1935 – July 24, 2019
Peacefully at Woodingford Lodge, Ingersoll after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s. Beloved wife of the late Leslie Czoll (2015). Survived by sister Dorothy Emerson and brother Cliff. Predeceased by infant brother Murray, sisters Pauline (McCurdy) and Evelyn (Eveland), and brothers Wray and Ralph. Also survived by nieces, Marilyn, Marsha, Cara and nephews, Wayne, Bernie, Randy, Dale, Dennis, Lanny and Bryce. Predeceased by nieces, Marlene, Brenda and nephew Ronald.
Betty was born in a Houghton Township farm house, the seventh child of Fern and Bruce. Public school education began across the road at the North Road School. After completing public school in Vienna, Betty graduated from Tillsonburg District High School. Her commercial education launched a 35 year career with Co-operators Insurance at offices in London and Guelph.
In retirement years, Betty and Leslie vacationed in several countries with Portugal being her favourite. Betty developed a fondness for classical music. She was also a skilled seamstress and knitted choice clothing for new baby relatives. Betty was appreciative of the excellent care provided by staff at Woodingford Lodge.
Friends and relatives can visit at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Sunday, July 28th from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. Service to follow at 1:30 p.m. with Reverend Ted Winter. Donations in memory of Betty to a charity of choice, in lieu of flowers.
