Bertram Dave David Foley Friday June 14th 2019

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of David Foley, age 67. He was born in Wolfville and resided in Truro, Nova Scotia most of his life. He is survived by his wife, Elaine (Smith), daughter, Tanya Foley-MacKenzie (Jamie), son, Jason (Loretta), grandchildren, Tyler, Brooke, Danica, Elsa and Gavin, sister, Patricia Lyons (Arthur) and nephew, Burnell.
Dave was always there for his family, friends, and coworkers. He had a quick wit and comforting personality. He was a leader at work and at home. He was consistently available to help. Dave loved taking drives, golfing, dogs, and movies. His time with us was cut short. We will cherish his memory, the knowledge he has shared, and his sense of humour daily.
A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday June 18, from 6-8pm at St. Andrews United Church, 55 King Street, Truro. We wish to thank the Palliative Care team at CEHHC, and special thanks to Dr. Rowe, and Dr. McGibney. Donations in Dave’s memory can be made to the Palliative Care Unit at CEHHC. Arrangements entrusted to Colchester Community Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting: www.ColchesterCommunity.com
