Audrey Rose Perepeluk Simons Monday June 17th 2019

Perepeluk, Audrey Rose, (nee Simons) passed away peacefully , at Grove Park Home in Barrie Ontario, on Monday June 17, 2019 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the Late Orest Perepeluk (Mickey), mother to Thomas (Linda), Judy Burrows (David) and Gina (Andre), grandmother to Lee Burrows (Bianca), Carly and Megan Widmer, great-grandmother to Declan, Ivadell and Merida.
Audrey, also known as Deet by her closest friends was born in Ratner , Saskatchewan on Nov 8, 1927 to Elizabeth and Delbert Simons. Years later she would be joined with a sister Jean. Audrey lived most of her life in Northern Manitoba. She had a passion for music (really loud) and crossword puzzles often using uncommon words on her children. Very few kids were up at 7am washing their physiognomy before off to school. She loved her feline friends (often higher ranked than her teenage children), knitting and a good rum and coke. She often called “hefferdust” to people she did not believe were telling the truth and would always tell you “it will grow” when inquiring if she like your new hair cut.
She was kind beyond measure, sassy, generous with her time, an avid walker, and in her later years was never afraid to speak her mind.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and careworkers.
A special thank you to Grove Park Home in Barrie for the kindness and excellent care our family received throughout this difficult time.
