Passed away on Thursday, July 4th, 2019 at the North Haven Manor, Lewisporte, Mr. Arthur Roy Freake, age 81 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jim and Elsie Freake; brothers, Charles, Harvey, Jabez and Bertram; sisters, Mary and Eileen. Left to mourn his passing with fond and loving memories are his wife, Maxine; children, Craig (Marg), Madge (Tony Ferrante), Berkley (Dara), Hayley (Trevor Rowsell); grandchildren, Joshua (Serena), Andrew (Kim), Madelyn, Julian, Ehren, Charlotte, Kylie and Bradyn; great-grandchildren, Alexis, Jax ,Taelynn and a large circle of other relatives and friends.
Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte on Friday, July 5th from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Visitation on Saturday, July 6th will take place from the United Church, Norris Arm North from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral Service will take place from the church on Sunday, July 7th at 2:30 PM. Interment will follow in the United Church Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimers Society of NL will be gratefully accepted.
