Alphonsine Boucher
1918-2019
Alphonsine Boucher, 100 years old, passed away peacefully, surrounded
by her family at the Foyer Saint-Antoine on Sunday July 14, 2019. She
was married to the late Théophile Boucher (1981). Born in
Saint-Paul, she was the daughter of the late Alphonse and the late
Annie (Goguen) Bernard.
She will be sadly missed by her six children; Marie-Anne Léger
(Raoul), Alice Caissie (late Gerard), Lucie Williams (Raymond) of
Saint-Antoine, Irène Cormier (Aurèle) of Moncton, Annie
Léger (Jean) of Moncton and Yvon of Saint-Paul, her sixteen
grandchildren, twenty three great grandchildren and two great great
grandchildren as well as several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by one daughter Ida, four sisters; Léona, Sr
Euphrasie (Alice), Elise and Marie and eight brothers; Henri,
Désiré, Arthur, Adelard, Léonide, Aimé,
Aurèle and Alfred.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Antoine L’Ermite Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, Saint-Antoine on Wednesday July 17 from
7 to 9 and on Thursday July 18 at the Saint-Paul-de-Kent Roman
Catholic Church Slumber Room, from 2 to 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be
celebrated at the Saint-Paul-de-Kent Church on Thursday July 18, 2019
at 4:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Alphonsine’s memory, donations may be made to the Foyer
Saint-Antoine.
Funeral arrangements are in the professional care of Maillet Funeral
Home, Bouctouche.
