Dad suddenly passed away on July 6, 2019 at home where he wanted to be surrounded by the love of his life, Mom, and his children and grandchildren whom he loved all so very much.
Allan was predeceased by his parents Florence & Jim Houle; son Michael Grayson Houle, Sisters Virginia Spence and Janet Houle.
Allan leaves to mourn his loving wife of 43 years, Dolores Houle; children Carlos (Shilan), Monica (David), Allan Houle Jr., Nicole (Matthew), Vince (Antoinette), Jaydon, and Veronica; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 brothers Dave, Ralph, and Phillip; 8 sisters Eileen, Verna, Barbara, Evelyn, Darlene, Judy, Laura and Betty.
Allan James Houle was born in Gladstone, MB and raised in Sandy Bay First Nation. Allan & Dolores married on July 31, 1982 and together they had 5 children and raised Vince (25), Jaydon (12) and Veronica (3). In his earlier years he was a jockey, carpenter, volunteer firefighter, installed duct work, and did the odd mechanic job. Dad enjoyed mechanic work which led him to start his own business “Houle’s Towing.” Allan’s life centered around his family. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity, locally and surrounding area. His smile was infectious.
He was a loving husband, father, Grandpa, Uncle, Brother and friend who will be greatly missed as he touched many lives.
