Entered into rest at the Georgian Bay General Hospital with his family by his side on Monday, July 15, 2019 at the age of 93. Beloved husband of the late Norma (nee Colcomb). Loving father of Barbara (Steve) Clayton. Dear grandfather of Lindsay (Mitch), Allison, and Michael. Predeceased by his parents Wilton and Beatrice Day, and sister Marg (Stan) Rogers. He will be sadly missed by his niece; Kathy (Barrie) Doyle, great-nieces Laurie (Tim) Haughton, Karen (Stacey) Hopkins, and great-nephews Joshua and Kaleb Haughton. As Allan was a former resident of the Villa Retirement Lodge, the family would like to express their gratitude to the staff for their excellent care. Also special thank you to Dr. Chabikuli and, the nurses of 2East at GBGH (especially Jenn and Laura) for their exceptional compassion. A private family gathering will be held. If desired, memorial donations to Wendat would be appreciated.
