Abe Friesen, 30, of RR1, St. Marys passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 6, 2019.
Beloved husband of Beth. Loving father of Riley and Landon. Loved son of Colin and Vanita Friesen. Dear brother of Char Friesen and Derrick Friesen (Diana). Favourite son-in-law of Jerry and Faye Warkentin. Dear brother-in-law of Lance Warkentin (Rebecca), Trevor Warkentin (Amber), Alana Warkentin and Whitney Warkentin. Cherished uncle of Dayne, Maddie, Tucker, Emma and Sammi. Loving grandson of Sherwin and Gladys Friesen, Vada Litwiller, Dewayne and Adeline Warkentin, Ronald and Mildred Wohlgemuth.
Predeceased by his “Papa” Eldon Litwiller.
Abe was a farmer at heart and loved working with his boys, family and the surrounding community.
Friends will be received at Mapleview Mennonite Church, 2162 Road 163, RR1, St. Marys on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Kirkton Union Cemetery. A reception will follow at the church. Memorial donations may be made to a family trust fund through the Lockhart Funeral Home or at LockhartFuneralHome.com. (make cheques payable to “Abe and Beth Friesen Family In Trust”)
