1937-2019
Myrtle Clara Davison – 82, of Canaan, Kings County,
formerly of Lumsden Dam, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 in the
Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville surrounded by her family. Born in
Wolfville, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Edith (Schofield)
Davison. Myrtle understood the importance of taking time for the
things that are truly important in life; Family & Friends. A
creative soul who enjoyed making special gifts for others. Myrtle was
a lifelong learner and continually looked for ways to expand her
knowledge in academics and crafts. Myrtle was a dedicated volunteer,
always giving of her time to help others. She will be fondly
remembered for being kind, caring and compassionate to all. She is
survived by her husband, Ealick of 59 years; her four sons, Kelvin
(Sandra), Tim (Kimberly), Todd (Brenda) and Blake (Cheri);
grandchildren, Carrie, Mark, Matthew, Nick, Andrew, Brandon and Sarah;
two great grandchildren, Brady and Jade; a sister, Ruth; five
brothers, Paul, Chesley, Laurie, Kenny and Charlton; many nieces and
nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by four
sisters, Pauline, Madeline, Marietta and Dorothy; five brothers,
Lawson, Bedford, Leo, Murray and Roscoe. Donations in memory may be
made to Myeloma Canada. Visitation will be held from 6:30-8:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 6, 2019 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville,
where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 9,
2019. Burial will take place in the Black River Road Cemetery, Kings
County. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family
Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville, Nova
Scotia.
