It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Joseph Hartigan announces his passing. Edward passed away at the Baie Verte Peninsula Health Care Centre, Baie Verte, NL on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2019 at the age of 74 years.
Predeceased by his first wife – Josephine “Dodie” Hartigan; son – Paul Hartigan; parents – Aubrey & Marguerite Hartigan; siblings – Bernard Hartigan (Lee), Frank Hartigan, John Hartigan, Frances Larson (Lloyd), Katherine Mayer (Robert) and Robert Hartigan.
Left with many loving memories is his wife of 34 years – Pauline Hartigan, Baie Verte, NL; daughter – Connie Hartigan-Huxter (David), Fort McMurray, AB; grandsons – Jake & Sam Huxter; sister – Margie O’Brien (William); mother-in-law – Susan Furey as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Parish, St. Patricks, NL on Monday, July 8th, 2019 at 2:00PM. Interment to follow from the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Patricks, NL.
As an expression of sympathy, donations made be made in Edward’s memory to the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Patricks, NL.
Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Foster Funeral Home, 22 Main Street, Baie Verte, NL.
