Obituary for Mrs. Shirley Inez Smith
Our wonderful Mom passed away June 29, 2019 in Niagara Falls, ON in her 99th year. She is predeceased by her husband Stan (2003), her son Larry, daughter-in-law Lynette and great-granddaughter DeeAnne.
She will always be cherished by her children Liz (Bill) Bynkoski, Mary Myles and Ron (Grace Rogers) Smith. Mom was blessed with 9 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. She took such joy from watching her grandchildren grow and start families of their own. Our gratitude and thanks to the staff of Valley Park Lodge who cared for Mom during her final years. She was born in Rob Roy, ON, to Johnston and Gertrude (nee Rolling) Bowins and there she shall come to rest. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held at the Rob Roy Cemetery on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 at Noon. For those who wish the family is grateful for donations to the Collingwood General & Marine Hospital.
