Dorice Cormier
1924-2019
Dorice Cormier, 95, of Résidence Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur,
Dieppe and formerly of Saint-Paul, passed away peacefully, surrounded
by her family at the Residence on Sunday June 30, 2019. She was
married to the late Yvon Cormier (1991). Born in Saint-Paul, she was
the daughter of the late Alban and the late Sarah (Cormier)
Belliveau.
She will be dearly missed by her eighteen children; Rosemonde Cormier
(Gilles) of Irishtown, Yvette Cormier, Norma Cormier (Late Roger) of
Dieppe, Maria Langis (Amédée), of Notre-Dame, Jeannine
Martin (Basile) of Moncton, Rolande Babineau (Jacques) of
Saint-Antoine, Ginette Hébert (Paul) of Scoudouc, Paul-Émile
(Doreen), Edgar (Dorine), Clarence (Alcida), Roland (Donalda) of
Saint-Paul, Yvon Jr. (Janice) of Milton, ON, Maurice (Bernice) of
Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, Delphis (Emma) of Bouctouche, Jean-Charles
(Jeannita) of Saint-Antoine, Laurie (Lilianne) of Notre-Dame, Normand
(Angella) of Irishtown, Roger (Marcia) of Dieppe, her forty-eight
grandchildren and fifty-one great grandchildren. She also leaves to
mourn three sisters; Edmée Belliveau of Shediac, Maria Belliveau
and Sr. Norma Belliveau n.d.s.c. of Moncton, two brothers; Gérald
of Ottawa and Normand of New Hampshire as well as several nephews and
nieces.
She was predeceased by one grandson, Jérémie (1989), six
sisters; Mable, Thérèse, Marie, Rose, Aline and Stella as
well as two brothers; Laurie and Roger.
Visitations will be held at the Saint-Paul de Kent Roman Catholic
Church Slumber Room, on Wednesday July 3, 2019 from 7 to 9 and on
Thursday July 4, from 2 to 4 and 5:30 to 6:45 pm. Funeral Mass will
be celebrated at the Saint-Paul de Kent Church on Thursday July 4,
2019 at 7:00 pm with interment in the parish cemetery.
In Dorice’s memory, donations may be made to the Heart and
Stroke Foundation or to the Saint-Paul Parish.
