Mr. Wilbert Plett of Edson, beloved husband of the late of Mrs. Mabel Plett, passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the age of 87 years.
Wilbert was second born to David and Katherine Plett on October 18, 1931.
Wilbert will be lovingly remembered by his children Phyllis Drewes, Larry (Linda) Plett, Darrell (Marian) Plett, and Lorraine (Gord) LeBel; grandchildren Karla (Daniel) Nash, Melissa (Ryan) Ellen, Natalie Plett, Jacob Plett, Annette (Chris) Cartwright, Jeromy Drewes, Trevor (Kaleena) Plett, Thomas Plett, Josh Plett, and Daniel LeBel; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings Ken (Katie), Cathy (Bob); as well as numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Besides his loving wife Mabel, Wilbert was predeceased by his son-in-law Marty Drewes; parents David and Katherine; siblings Betty, Edwin, Gordon, David, Joyce, Minna and Mary.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00pm on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at the Edson Mennonite Church, 6212 – 13 Avenue, Edson, AB., with Pastor Aaron Kauffman, officiating.
For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Edson Nursing Home.
