Obituary of Susan Elizabeth Urquhart
It is with deep sadness that we must announce the passing of Susan (Armstrong) Urquhart on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the Sackville Memorial Hospital. Susan passed away at the age of 69, with her loving family by her side.
Born on July 22, 1950 in Montreal, QC, she was the daughter of Muriel (Henley) McKay and the late Frank George Armstrong.
Susan will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Muriel McKay; her daughter, Dawn Ellen Urquhart; her son, Daniel Malcolm Urquhart; her brother, Donald (Kristen) Armstrong, as well as by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Besides her father, Susan was pre-deceased by her husband of 46 years, Hugh David Urquhart on January 26, 2018.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Campbell’s Funeral Home, 89 Bridge Street, Sackville, N.B. (506) 364-8188. Visiting hours will take place at the funeral home on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 6-8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 2 pm at St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Mt. Whatley, N.B. with The Rev’d Lidvald Haugen-Strand officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Susan may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of Canada, the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the charity of one’s choice.
