Peter S. Trites
Peter S. Trites, 71, of
Lakeville, Westmorland Co., passed away peacefully at The Moncton
Hospital on Tuesday, July 23, 2019.
Born in Indian Mountain, he
was the son of the late Leslie and Eldred (Steeves)
Trites.
Peter was a retired Forklift
Operator with Pepsi Cola. A real handyman, he loved NASCAR, especially
Dale Earnhardt and Jeff Gordon, racing stock cars and was an avid
Toronto Blue Jays fan.
Peter will be sadly missed by
his daughters, Amanda Lavoie (Derrick) of Fredericton and Stephanie
Lirette (Norman) of Moncton; grandchildren, Michael Trites, Landen
Lavoie and Brittany and Emma Lirette; sisters, Kay Steeves, Shirley
Lewis Cail, Phyllis Stewart (Leo) and Joanne Trites; brother, Lloyd
Trites (Joan), as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition to his parents, he
was predeceased by his brother, Bryden
Lewis.
Visitation at Fergusons
Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Sunday from
2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm. A Service to celebrate and honour
Peter’s life will be held from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel
on Monday, July 29, 2019 at 11:00 am. Reception in the Funeral Home
Reception Centre following the service. Interment will be in Birch
Hill Cemetery.
In memory of Peter, donations
to a memorial of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
