Yvette Pelletier (nee Vandenbosch) November 5, 1942 – February 9, 2019
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Yvette Pelletier at the age of 76
She will be sadly missed by her loving husband and partner of 35 years Denis Pelletier, her daughter Darlene & John McKenzie of Merritt, BC, her granddaughter Caitlin Durston of Dauphin, MB, her daughter Karen Barnabè and Marty Erlendson of Winnipeg, MB, her grandson Tyson and Courtney Barnabè of St. Jean, MB, her stepsons Denis Jr Pelletier, Michael & Dea Pelletier, grandson Justin Pelletier all of Stonewall, MB, her brother Terry and Susan Vandenbosch of Tumble Ridge, BC, her sisters-in-law Irene MacCarthy and Paulette Delaurier (Lionel) and numerous nieces & nephews as well as a very special auntie Agnes Vandenbosch of Ste. Rose du Lac, MB
Yvette was predeceased by her father Julian (Pete) Vandenbosch in 1977, her mother Adrienne Vandenbosch (Grandbois) in 1993, her brother Gilbert Vandenbosch in 2013 and her first husband Adelard Verhaeghe in 1990.
Yvette grew up in Ste. Amelie, MB, raised her children in Ste. Rose du Lac, MB and then moved with the love of her life to Letellier, MB. Yvette was always active in many organizations including the Kinette Club, the Ste. Rose and Ste. Amelie Archery Club and enjoyed many years of curling and was proud to have made it to the Provincials with her mixed curling team. Yvette worked hard her whole life, working at Adam’s Grocery Store and the Royal Bank in Ste. Rose. After moving to Letellier, she along with her husband owned and operated the Letellier Hotel for 16 years. Her grandchildren Caitlin and Tyson were her pride and joy and she loved every moment spent with them and spoiled them rotten!
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Funeral Mass & Celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Ste. Rose de Lima Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Rose du Lac, MB. Fr. Patrick Neufeld will celebrate the mass with interment in the Ste. Rose Cemetery.
