May 24, 1944 – July 19, 2019
Peacefully, on July 19, 2019, with her family at her bedside, Bonnie passed away after a courageous fight.
Born in Winnipeg to Norah and Arnold Quinton, Bonnie grew up in Vancouver, returning to Winnipeg at 15 years of age, attending Churchill High School. She met her husband just before her 19th birthday.
Bonnie and Allan married on September 9, 1967 and enjoyed almost 52 years together. Daughters Tara and Audrey soon followed. She was very proud of her girls and her grandchildren. Bonnie had fought cancer since 2007. Church was important to Bonnie. She is now with her Lord.
Bonnie is survived by her husband Alan, daughters Tara (Tim), grandchildren Jordan and Aiden; daughter Audrey (Marc-Deceased), grandchildren Sydney and Mackenzie, as well as sister Gail Quinton-Kuschei of Oakville, Ontario (Arnols-Deceased), brothers Gary (Judy) and Richard (Betty) Quinton and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of her Life will be held at St. Bartholomew Angelican Church, 881 Autumnwood Dr., Windsor Park , July 30,2019 at 11:00 AM.
Reception to follow, extra parking available at Frontenac School.
