Peter James McDonald Friday July 19th 2019

He taught us everything, except how to live without him. With profound sadness my brother and I announce the peaceful passing of our Dad on Friday, July 19, 2019 at the Brantford General Hospital. Loving and devoted husband of Eleanor (2007). Loving and loved father of Jim (Lynn), Karen (Bob), Jill (2016), Rob. Grampa of Curtis (Whitney). Great-grampa of Lyla and James. Predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Peter as well as his twin brother John. Our Dad was an incredible person. His passing will leave a void that will never be filled. He touched each of our lives in such a special and caring way. We loved him each and every day and will miss him the same way. As this is a Celebration of Dad’s Life we encourage a more relaxed atmosphere without suits and ties. Donations to the Stedman Community Hospice or the Alzheimer Society of Brant appreciated, no flowers please. The family will receive friends at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. and Wednesday, July 24, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
