Mary Catherine Moran Jenkins 19512019

Mary Catherine (Moran) Jenkins
1951-2019
Mary Catherine (Moran) Jenkins, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister,
aunt and friend, passed on surrounded by love on July 17, 2019.
She was born in Victoria, BC, but considered Ottawa, ON home. In her
childhood and youth she lived in many countries around the world,
ultimately making a home in Fredericton/Oromocto, NB.
She loved history, stories, and movies; which tied in with her career
of working in libraries, first with the federal government and later
at the UNB Law Library.
She was a wonderful and beloved mother to Mila (Joe) of Oromocto,
David (Jessi) of Lakeville Corner, and Matthew (Vien) of Toronto, and
proud Grammy to Hazel, Ivy, Ira, Gabriel, Henry, and Aaron.
Predeceased by her loving parents Michael Harold and Catherine Sarah
Moran. She will be remembered by her big brother Michael (Jocelyne) of
Ottawa, 2 nieces and grandnieces of Ottawa, and as a treasured
companion to long-time friends.
Honouring her wishes, she is being cremated and family will honour
Mary’s life in private this summer. Her children and
grandchildren will celebrate her life, acknowledge her strength and
the sacrifices she made, and remember all the love she had and
shared.
Special thanks are expressed to the team of Med 1 at the Oromocto
Public Hospital for their care and compassion.
Arrangements entrusted to Hogg Funeral & Cremation Services. As
expressions of sympathy, donations to her living memory would be
appreciated.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Mary Catherine Moran Jenkins 19512019..
