Marchetti, Walter Mario – Passed away peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Centre with his family by his side on Thursday, July 18, 2019 at the age of 84. He will be deeply missed by his wife Albina (nee Bertini) of 61 years. Loving father to Henry (Denise) of Sydneham and Sonya Taylor of Ottawa. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Selena, David and Amanda (Brad) and his great grandchildren Evalea, Katherine, Randy, Luke, and Kyle. He will forever be missed by his nieces, nephews, friends and many other relatives.
Walter will always be remembered for his love of nature and all wildlife, An avid gardener, fisherman, and hunter. He shared his passion with his family and created life long happy memories with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. His family will forever smile at the memories of him herding his sheep with his beloved dog Buster and his sidekick Clucky by his side.
Visitation will be held at the Wartman Funeral Home – Kingston Chapel on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (1111 Taylor Kidd Boulevard) on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 10:30 am. Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery (718 Division Street).
