It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dennis Francis Hollett on July 16th, 2019 at the age of 67. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Julia Hollett; sisters Diane (Bernard) Power and Daphne (Bill) Kennedy; and parents-in-law James and Helen Guest. Leaving to mourn his wife Roxanne; son Dennis; special granddaughter Kieley Norman and her mother Jackie; brothers Tom (Carol), Bob (Shirley) and Derrick (Linda); sister Bernadette Mercer; in-laws: Gordie (Nellie, deceased), Linda (Walter, deceased), Bruce (Judy), Jeanette (John), Debbie (Scottie, deceased) and Gail (Ron); camping buddies from Marine Park, Pouch Cove; and a large circle of families and friends. Special thanks to Dr. Metcalf and Harold Druken Jr. who carried him on his last day. The family would also like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, and staff of the Health Sciences Centre for all of their exceptional care. As per Dennis’ request, cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, July 19th, 2019 from 11 am – 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. John Bosco Church on Saturday, July 20th, 2019 at 9:30 am. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of one’s choice.
