Ettie Lovenia Joy Wagg’s journey ended peacefully, Monday morning, 15 July 2019, at Corner Brook’s Western Memorial Regional Hospital, after a brief illness, with family at her side. Her birth was welcomed by her parents Archibald & Louise Langdon, 85 years ago, in Deer Lake. Love, as she came to be called, will be forever missed by her children: Dana, Wanda (Barry Wood – deceased), Roxanne (Paul Hepditch – deceased) and Christelle (Don Penney) as well as grandchildren: Dara, Kaleela, Margo, Callie, Erika and Kirk. She is survived by her brothers and sister: Robert, Cora (Eric) Matchim and Carl (Gloria), and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends especially Rita and Jean. She was predeceased by husband Howard, sisters Stella Langdon, Margaret White, Ivy Baker, Eileen Varga and Gladys Patey, brothers Claude, Newman, Norman, Selby, Ralph and Bramwell, special nephews Roy McNeil and Howard Langdon. Love was honest, hard-working, kind, generous and strong. Visitation will take place at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, July 18 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The Funeral service will take place from the Chapel on Friday, July 19 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Jeffrey White officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice. The family guest book may be signed by visiting www.fillatre.ca
