It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Suzette Marguerite Norris, on July 12, 2019 at the age of 50. Suzette was born to Allan and Blanche Norris of Gander, Newfoundland, where she spent her young life. After moving around Eastern Canada and some of Alberta, she decided to settle in Red Deer to be close to her brother, Grant, his wife, Zeta, and their children. She was a devoted aunt to her niece and nephew, Ashley and Lucas. Suzette always did her best to make it to every ringette, hockey, or baseball game. Her loud cheering from the stands will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
Suzette was predeceased by her father, Allan Norris, grandparents, David and Mary Blackmore, Gladys and Peter Norris, and her cousin, Patrick Blackmore. Suzette will be lovingly remembered by her mother, Blanche Norris, her brother, Grant Norris, sister-in-law, Zeta, niece, Ashley, nephew, Lucas, and countless cousins, aunts, and uncles. Suzette’s celebration of life will be held at a later date and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Red Deer Regional Hospital Foundation.
