PHILLIPS, Rachael –
Age 47, Waycobah First Nation passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019,
in Victoria County Memorial Hospital, Baddeck. Born in Inverness she
was a daughter of the late Bernie Sylliboy and Mary Jane
Young.
Surviving are her dad, Alfred Young Sr., Waycobah; daughter,
Jessie (Dillon Cullen), Waycobah; sisters, Delores A. Sylliboy,
Georgina (Merle) Julian, Shannon (Frankie) Googoo, all of Waycobah;
brothers, Andrew Phillips (Kelly), Pictou Landing; Stanford (Denise)
Phillips, Waycobah; Alfred Jr. Young (Tamara), Bernie Sylliboy and
Anthony Phillips, all of Waycobah; grandchildren, Joshua and Sarah;
nieces, Alyssa, Brittany, Kylee, Shannah, Katerra, Katalina, Kitpu,
Andromeda, Chantel and Lauren; nephews, Jeremy, Jakob, Konrad, Bailey,
Hayden, Andrew, Noel and Richard.
Visitation will be after 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 16 at 13
Gabriel Dr., Waycobah First Nation. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m.
Wednesday from Blessed Kateri Parish Holy Trinity Roman Catholic
Church, Waycobah with Father Conrad Edwards officiating. Burial in the
parish cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and
direction of Dennis Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Whycocomagh. Words of
