It is with broken hearts the family of Mario Gerard MacIntyre announces his passing. He is loved and survived by his wife Dora; son Christopher(Alexa deGrace); daughters Amanda(Wes) Shand, Jessica(Owen Mair), Mellissa (Matthew) Motiuk, and Kara; his grandchildren Rowan, Isaac, Sawyer, Milo, Emerson, Landyn, and Molly; and his sisters Katherine (Arthur) James and Barbara (Richard) Goodkey and three generations of nieces and nephews.
Mario was predeceased by his daughter Megan, nephew Mark Goodkey, brothers Hugh and Jerry, as well as his parents Joe and Gena.
His greatest accomplishments were his children, grandchildren, and receiving his Bachelor of Arts in History with Distinction. Mario was a quiet man with a quick wit, whose charm and sense of humor became apparent within a few minutes of speaking with him. He enjoyed sharing his passions with the people he loved, whether that was discussing his favorite books, his love of music, or diagnosing the many problems of the Montreal Canadiens season after season.
