1946-2019
Donald James Mitton, 73, of Little River
passed away July 10, 2019 at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Salisbury
he was a son of the late Russell and Clarabella (Reeder)
Mitton. Donald was a woodsman who loved his work and time spent with
his family.
Survived and sadly missed by his beloved
wife Carolyn nee MacCallum; his children; Shelley Russwurm (Bryant) of
Steeves Mountain, Annette O’Brian (Billy) of Middle, Tracey Larose
(Eric) of Moncton, Kevin Mitton (Sarah) of Memramcook; his brother
David (Marilyn) of Meadow; sisters Nancy MacCallum (Darrell) of
Colpitts Settlement, and Esther Mitton of Little River. Survived also
by eight cherished grandchildren; Nick (Melissa) O’Brian, Melissa
(Nick) Layton, Kelsey Carson, Tim Russwurm, Ben Dix, Brandon Dix,
Chelsea Burton, Maya Larose, six great grandchildren; Conner, Leland,
Levi, Denali, Iola and Colt and by several nieces, nephews and
cousins, brothers and sisters in law.
The Funeral will be held from the
Salisbury Funeral Home Chapel, 3350 Rte 106 Salisbury on Saturday July
13, 2019 at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. Interment at the
Wilson Cemetery, Little River.
If desired memorials to the Canadian Diabetic or the Heart
and Stroke Associations would be appreciated by the
family.
