Floella’s Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Floella Amelia Merle Butt announce her peaceful passing at North Haven Manor, Lewisporte on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, age 78 years.
She was predeceased by parents George(1977) and Deitha Butt (1990); infant brother, Andrew(1936); special cousin, Ben Butt (2014). Left to mourn her passing with fond and precious memories are brother, Gilbert(Marion); her nieces and nephew (whom she adored with her life), Carolyn (Clayton), Donny (Jerry), and Elizabeth (Jason); aunt, Bridie (Tilson) Ivany; special cousin, Beulah (James) Gruchy; many relatives of the Butt and Clarke families and a very large circle of friends.
Public visitation will take place from Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, 262 Main Street, Lewisporte, 7-9 PM on July 11th. Funeral service will take place Friday, July 12th at 2 PM at Gordon Woolfrey Funeral Home, Lewisporte.
As everybody knows, Aunt Merlie, as she was fondly known, loved cats. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations for Rhonda’s Ranch, a cat rescue in Port au Port East, NL, which her nieces are supporters of, will be gratefully accepted in her memory.
