Geraldine Desneiges (née Tailleur) was born at L’Ange-Gardien (QC) to Albertine Boudreau & Albert Tailleur. She passed away in Peace River (AB) at the age of 89 years, 10 months & 10 days.
Mom worked as a teacher in Jean-Coté (AB) and later as a librarian in Grimshaw (AB). She liked to read. She enjoyed knitting slippers and crocheting blankets. Sundays were fun as she loved Sunday picnics at Lac Cardinal/Queen Elizabeth Park.
Geraldine is predeceased by husband Roy Nelson (2015).
She is survived her son Daniel St. Jean of Peace River; daughter Vivianne (Peter) Russon of Calgary (AB); grandsons Eric Russon and Evan Russon; great-grandson Emerson-Solice Russon; and the families of her surviving sublings Gaston Tailleur, Lorenzo Tailleur and Rollande Doyer.
A Private Memorial Service for Geraldine will be planned.
