October 30, 1969 – July 5, 2019
at the age of 49 years
A Celebration of life service will be held at Shuswap Community Church on Saturday, July 20th at 11 am with tea, coffee, and light snacks to follow.
On July 5, 2019, Kellie was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven after a valiant battle with ovarian cancer.
Kellie was predeceased by sister Monique, and grandparents William and Yvonne Scothern and Thomas and Eveline Marriott.
Left to cherish her memory is devoted husband of 30 years Kenneth, daughter Bekah (Cam), son James (Quinn), grandson Alec, parents Peter and Josée Marriott, sister Tania (Peter) Delay, brother Ivan (Robbi) Marriott, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Kellie was born in Tenterden, England and has been a resident of Salmon Arm since the age of six. It was here that she met and married the love of her life, Kenneth, and raised her family. In 1999, Kellie started working as a seamstress for Family Dry Cleaning, and in 2013 she went on to start her own business (Sew Special Clothing Alterations and Repairs). She touched so many lives with her talent as a seamstress and with her honest, hardworking, and loving nature. Kellie adored all children and was overjoyed to have her grandson Alec. Jesus’ love shone through Kellie in everything she did.
Thank you to the doctors and nurses at SLGH, Montebello Medical Clinic, community nurses, support services, and the staff at Remedy Rx. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Ovarian Cancer Canada.
