Gabriel, aka Junior, was born in Turtleford and spent most of his life in Thunderchild. He will be remembered as one of the most generous and kind person you will have ever known. He always made you laugh and was always mischievous and adventurous! Junior is also remembered as a respectful individual who was never afraid to help whenever he could.
He is predeceased by: His father, Gabriel Curly; his brother, Rodd Glen Buglar; his moshums, John Moosomin and Peter Wapass; his kokums, Lena Curly and Bella Wapass; his aunties, Gloria Curly and Lila Newlove-Wapass; his uncle, Ralley Curly; and his grandson, Nixon Lam.
Gabriel leaves to mourn; his wife, Tanya Wapass; his children and grandchildren, Safara Choriel and her three children, Cain Wapass and his daughter Tahmikah, Jade Starblanket and her daughter Talisha, Montana Kaye-Wapass, Gabriel Bird-Wapass and his son Zayden, Jeremy Wapass, Keenan Wapass, Joy Wapass, Anthony Kaye, Blade Starblanket, and Joey Littlecrowe and his children; his mother, Julia Helgason (Wapass); his brothers, Delbert Wapass (Doreen) and Calvin Wapass; his sisters, Janet Wapass (Peter) and Rachel Buglar; and numerous uncles, aunties, sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews.
