Roderick’s Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that the families of Roderick Pittman announce his sudden passing at the Health Science Complex, in St. John’s, NL, on Tuesday, June 18th, 2019 at the age of 62 years.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife; Valerie nee MacDonald, his children; Rodney (Lana), Craig (Vicky), Nicole (Brad), and Billy (Carrol-Ann), his grandchildren; Victoria, Kyle, Tihanna, Torrie, Trent, Stirling, Serenty, Kadence, Brayden, Daycee, and Deacon, his siblings; Edith (Ron), Walter (Yvonne), Marie, Sterling (Irene), Vera (Lester), Eudora, Linda (Calvin), Lillian (Cecil), Doris, Louise, and Boyd (Joan), his mother-in-law; Frances MacDonald, his sisters-in-law; Christine (Terry) Ingram, Janet (Randy) Wilson, Angela (Maurice) Ducharme, and Jody MacDonald (Robert), Roderick was predeceased by his parents; Mertle and Hector Pittman, his father-in-law; William MacDonald, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends.
In keeping with Roderick wishes cremation has taken place and the family will be receiving family and friend at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Friday, June 21st, 2019 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the Memorial service will take place from on Saturday, June 22nd, 2019 at 2:00 pm, with Rev Andrew Wright officiating.
