Simpson, John “Smith”
Passed away peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital on June 18th, 2019 at the age of 88 with his family by his side.
He is survived by his loving wife Catherine, his four sons; Merv (Monica), David (Linda), Barry (Susan), and Paul (Ruthanne) and two step-daughters; Rene (Blake) and Anne (Stephen).
Beloved grandpa to ten grandchildren and their spouses and three step-grandchildren and their spouses. Great-grandpa to nine great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren. Also survived by his siblings; James (Valerie), Desmond (Betty), and Doris (George).
Predeceased by his Dad John “Edward” Simpson and his mom Sophia Smith and his late wife Sarah Lena.
Visitation will be held at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home 8911 Woodbine Avenue Markham, Ontario L3R 5G1 on Thursday, June 20th, 2019 from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm and Friday, June 21st, 2019 from 10:00 am – 11:00 am. Funeral Service to take place at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home 8911 Woodbine Avenue Markham, Ontario L3R 5G1 on Friday, June 21st, 2019 at 11:00 am with a reception to follow.
