The family of John McKee of St.Albert is saddened to announce his passing on Wednesday, June 26 2019 at the age of 84.
He will be lovingly remembered by his sons: Neil (Lisa) and Andrew (Christine); grandchildren: Sophie, Lily and Logan.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 45 years, Margaret.
John was born in Kirkintilloch, Scotland and served as a gunner in the Royal Artillery division of the British Military for 2 years. He had a varied and interesting career in the telecommunications industry, working in the UK, Kenya and Nigeria before moving to St. Albert with his family in 1975 to begin a long career with AGT (Telus).
The family is holding a Private Memorial Service at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made in John’s name to the Alberta Diabetes Foundation.
The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at Chartwell St. Albert Retirement Residence and the Sturgeon General Hospital for their caring and support for Dad.
